Position: Admin & Finance Officer
Location: Male’
Remuneration: MVR 11,000/-
Start Date: 12th January 2025

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinate implementation of programs and events.

  2. Manage event registration, providing material support including pre and post evaluations.

  3. Coordinate online webinars, trainings and meetings and prepare event minutes for record keeping.

  4. Provide secretarial support to Executive Director. Collect, compile & assist in data entry into web portals of LSM.

  5. Provide support to Project Manager to coordinate/monitor events & project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.

  6. Provide support to develop reporting of LSM/associated partner institutions to relevant authorities.

  7. Assist in delivering effective communication and advocacy for greater impact of LSM objectives to different groups and stakeholders through LSM Newsletter

  8. Manage communications with donors and external consultants and coordinate engagements for effective program implementation.

  9. Assists the project team in preparation of reports, presentations.

  10. Assist in bookkeeping and tasks related to procurement as per Procurement procedures

  11. Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations of LSM

  12. Performs any other related duties that may be assigned to ensure effective management of LSM and its institutions

COMPETENCIES

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including good command of both written and spoken English and Dhivehi

  • Result oriented: Ability to work independently and ability to get things done.

  • Management: Organizing skills for effective and smooth operational flow.

  • Technology: Experience with or willingness to learn how to use online tools & software to manage work and conduct meetings; Familiarity with MS office package.

  • Innovation and creativity: Ability to come up with new ideas to achieve objectives and make new and useful ideas work

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Social Sciences, Environmental Management, or any relevant field OR

  • Diploma in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Social Sciences, Environmental Management, or any relevant field with minimum of 1 year experience in relevant field
